About the Going Beyond Project

The Going Beyond project partners DOT & the Mastercard Foundation to scale youth-led programs in four African countries.

Eligibility

Ages 18–35, Malawi nationals and residents of Mchinji, Ntcheu, Lilongwe (Surrounding areas of Bunda, Mitundu , Chinsapo, Likuni,Airwing, Chitipi and Lumbadzi).
Recent graduates (6 months–5 years) with certificate, diploma, or bachelor’s degree.
Available for 8 months of training & deployment.
Basic smartphone/computer skills required.
Unemployed & committed to full participation.

Important Notice

Non-graduates, full-time employees, or those still in academic training will not be considered.

We strongly encourage applications from young women and other marginalized youth, including those with disabilities, from rural or low-income backgrounds, and displaced young people.

Selection Process

Stage 01

Selected for 5-day training in Lilongwe by 4 July 2025.

Stage 02

Proceed to 5-day contracting & deployment.

Stage 03

Career development training & support from mHub & partners.
